Automatic Toy
I own a car wash that is terrible and wont sell. Do I convert?
It has 6 bays manual and 2 automatic. I 'm surrounded by auto repair shops and quite a few other carwash in the area. I played with the idea of a store storage or convienace STELF system, but not sure of the cost. PLEASE HELP!
Stick with what you already, but - what is the problem. This means that you should ask some customers why more people do not use your car wash. That may be the pressure of the wash wand, vacuum cleaners are powerful enough, the water is not warm, etc. Many businesses fail - fail because owners do not want know what is wrong or afraid to ask. Startup costs for a convienience store or auto storage lot would be more lights, shelves, remodeling cost permits. Just fix what is wrong with your existing car wash. Are you burned at the car wash? Sometimes this happens to an owner business - you see things that have to do, but you can not motivated to do so. So start by washing your car - are you proud of the way it seems. Are there any old signs and banners hanging in tatters. Want some fresh new paint colors attract new customers? You can do many things to attract new customers and customers may be of yesteryear. Visit your competitors Car Wash - then you'll have a better idea of what is wrong with yours. Do you skimp on lighting - perhaps you have a few lights burned out and you do not have time to replace all blown bulbs? People like lots of security lighting - it could double your evening and dark. Put money in your business - your business is like having a child, if you do not invest in this sector and take time to worry about - the income slowly drifting. You ask for help - which is good. You know something's wrong - now do something before it is too late. Customers like to see you there, even if it is being cleaned up, cleaning dirt and mud after someone washing their hardened mud 4 wheels in the Bay 2. Do your bill changers work - each of them? Maybe a little music on weekends, you just need a cd player and a pair of external speakers - not too strong, and certainly not rap or metal striking head - just a mixture of good music. A few barrels of whiskey flowers planted in them. Come on buddy - jump in and clean this place up - you have to push yourself sometimes when you own a business. Get a couple of your best friends and tell them you need help motivation. It is difficult to work for yourself sometimes. Do not wait - you need this competitive drive back to you. It is time to get out of your a_ _ and get this place in shape.
