Why does Toys for Tots even exist when some seniors go without food or medicine?
Sorry to be a miser, but I hate it. Children do not NEED toys. But many seniors, some veterans have to choose between food and medications (I mean things like heart medications, not Viagra) Since when are toys more important than the life of an elderly person? Why not tell them that Santa was sick this year and save an older person instead? And BTW, I'm not a senior, I 19. I thought this way since I was a little boy.
You R OCK! I'm 34 and you're a lady bright and compassionate young! We need more people like you around the world. You're not a miser. We should give back and take care of our elderly. The west just they want to ship nursing homes without decent care and compassion. Outside the U.S. they really take care of the older generation with dignity and respect. It makes me really sad.
